Last autumn, we had the privilege of being commissioned by All Saints’ Church in Orpington to restore and re-roof their historic Lychgate.
Built 146 years ago, the structure is a cherished part of the church’s heritage but had reached a stage where careful restoration was essential to safeguard its future.
Our team combined traditional craftsmanship with modern expertise to carry out the work with the utmost respect for its history. Using premium Canadian Western Red Cedar shingles, we delivered a roof that is both durable and sympathetic to the original design.
The result is a beautifully restored Lychgate that preserves its heritage while providing lasting protection, ensuring it can be enjoyed by the church and its community for generations to come.
